One evening per month, Ken McLeod meets with a small group of students for an in-depth question and answer session around Buddhism-related questions. These sessions are recorded and posted on the UM website for practitioners who may have similar questions but have limited access to a teacher.

Ideas for questions:

  • practice questions and challenges
  • mixing practice with daily life challenges
  • Buddhist approaches to job, family, friends, illness, death, etc.
  • better understanding of various points in Buddhist philosophy, e.g., karma, emptiness, the middle way, etc.
  • a question that arises about a book, text, or teaching
  • how one might regard current political, social, or cultural issues
  • application of practice in culture, ethics, and so on

The group is limited to 5-6 people per session. If you'd like to participate, send an email and we'll take it from there. Please send your question beforehand so that we can select 5-6 of them that represent a range of topics.

About the Teacher

Ken McLeod Ken McLeod began his studies in 1970 with the Tibetan meditation master, the Ven. Kalu Rinpoche. After receiving training in the Kagyu, Shangpa, and Nyingma traditions of Buddhism in Tibet, he was authorized by Kalu Rinpoche to teach and guide others in their practice. A translator and author, Ken established Unfettered Mind in 1990 and is the executive director of Unfettered Mind. To find out more about Ken, click here.
